• Spiritual Development Based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous:  residents are required to attend daily Alcoholics or Narcotics Anonymous (AA/NA) meetings and work with a sponsor in the program.
  • Counseling:  residents are provided relapse prevention counseling that includes identifying triggers; understanding the relapse process and related programs such as relationship management, anger-impulse control and money management.

  • Interview and Job Placement Assistance:  to provide a better understanding of the mechanics of applying for an interviewing for various employment opportunities.

  • Moral Development:  to strengthen commitment to self and community - to help them understand their place in society.

  • Assistance in Strengthening Healthy Family Relationships:  to provide a structure that a recovering person can return to if appropriate.

  • Practical Life Skills:  cooking, cleaning, banking, laundry - to build confidence.

Our alumni are active at Nick's Place and assist in helping new residents plug into a strong young person's recovery network.
