OVERVIEW

 

  • The residence is a typical suburban rancher in a neighborhood in Beltsville, MD with MARC, Metro & Metro Bus access within walking distance.

  • It is located in the Central Maryland Area recovery network with dozens of 12-step meetings available within the community.

  • The residence is set up for occupancy for six residents and the live–in residential director.

  • Many Nick's Place alumni still live within the neighborhood and avail themselves to our residents for network, support, transportation, and mentorship. Once a Nick's Place resident... Always a Nick's Place family member.

  • Residents are encouraged to make Nick's Place their home away from home for the duration of their 6–12 month stay. They are assisted in all aspects of healthy living skills by the Nick's Place staff in all areas of life — from personal health care, cooking and cleaning skills, budgeting and spending practices — to workplace ethics and community involvement.
